You will find a multicultural environment with students from all over the world. The Czech Republic offers high-quality education, friendly locals, and affordable living costs compared to Western Europe. Adjusting may take time, especially due to language and weather differences, but orientation and support services will help ease your transition

Yes, many universities in the Czech Republic offer programs taught entirely in English, especially at the bachelor's and master's level. You can choose from a wide range of fields, and language proficiency is required for admission

Start by selecting your desired program and university. Submit the online application with all required documents, such as academic transcripts, proof of language proficiency, and a statement of purpose. Each university may have its unique requirements, so review them carefully

Typically, you will need:

  • Completed application form

  • Academic transcripts and diplomas (often officially translated to Czech or English)

  • Proof of language proficiency (IELTS or equivalent for English programs, optional)

  • Letters of recommendation

  • A motivation letter or personal statement

After receiving your acceptance letter, apply for a long-term student visa at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in your country. You must provide documents including the acceptance letter, accommodation confirmation, proof of financial means, a bank statement, and a legalized criminal record certificate. The entire process can take up to 120 days, so apply as early as possible

You must provide recent bank statements showing you have sufficient funds to cover your stay. If using a parent’s account, a financial guarantee letter is required. Only documents verified by the bank (stamped and signed) are accepted

If your visa application is denied, you may be eligible for a partial refund of the fees paid. Here’s how it works:

  • Admission Assistance & Tuition Fees: You will receive an 80% refund of the admission assistance service fee and university tuition fees (in some cases, up to 100%, depending on the university’s administrative policies).

  • Non-Refundable Costs: The remaining 20% covers administrative expenses already processed. Additionally, any third-party fees paid directly to universities (e.g., application fees) or government offices (e.g., visa fees) are non-refundable.

  • Required Documentation: To initiate the refund process, you must provide official visa rejection documents.

Please note that refund eligibility may vary based on university policies. For further details, contact our support team.

Missing document deadlines can seriously impact your university application process. If you fail to submit required documents on time, your application may be considered incomplete and could be rejected by the university. Delays may also affect your eligibility for certain programs, accommodation options, and your ability to begin the visa application process promptly. It’s essential to follow all deadlines closely. Global Grad will provide reminders and guidance to help you stay organized and submit all required documents on schedule.
